Ok, so maybe you’re wondering why I’m standing next to Raquel Welch. (I’m on the left.) It’s not another example of grabbing celebrity glam. Or name-dropping either. I just wanted this website to be about my life in advertising. I hope to share all the fun, some of the success and lots of my experiences with you. After you spend some time here, you’ll know what I know about this business.
You’ll see I’ve created commercials with flashlights that sing and given phlegm a personality. I’ve written for Big Pharma, small restaurants, Hollywood stars and the folks next door. If it came in a box, I worked on the brief. I’ve led creative departments but I never stopped having the heart of a junior copywriter.
I’ve made multinational spots all over the world. But the one I’m most proud of was shot on the streets of Manhattan and begged New Yorkers not to forget the homeless at Christmas. From social responsibility to social media, advertising has given me so many opportunities.
Like standing next to a few famous people. Small price to pay for doing what you love.
